Go To Crew’s very own Vegas DP, Drew Pilot, recently had the opportunity to film one of basketball’s all-time legends, A’ja Wilson, for Good Morning America. A two-time WNBA champion with the Las Vegas Aces and a three-time MVP, A’ja has made history with her remarkable achievements, including a historic 1,000-point regular season. Go To Crew got a front row seat to this excitement, and caught up with her right after she celebrated her third MVP award!
For this interview, Drew utilized an impressive setup featuring three cameras: a Sony FX9, an FS5, and an FX3 as an ISO cam focused on the correspondent. To create the perfect lighting, the team installed a Nanlite 60 Bi-Color light overhead with a China Ball light modifier and another Nanlite 300 with a Parabolic softbox as their key. This attention to detail ensured that A’ja’s charisma and passion shone through in every frame.
