Fanatics takes over a Phoenix Card Shop

This small card store in Phoneix was PACKED with fans! DP Carlos Martinez walked into with an FX3 and a brief to come out with a B-roll package and stills.
Working a crowd like that as a single operator means accepting that you don't control the space. There's no clearing the room, no repositioning the crowd, no second pass once the moment has moved on. Carlos Martinez had it covered!
The FX3 is a sensible choice for exactly this scenario. It's small enough to move through a packed store without becoming an obstacle in a room.
Footage was delivered via FTP, keeping the handoff simple once the day wrapped. One operator, one camera body, a two-and-a-half-hour set window and a B-roll and stills package out the door. Assignment Desk crews cover shoots like this across the country, including markets where the drive is longer than the shoot.
