It’s time to go out and play!
Nickelodeon is traveling across the country encouraging kids to learn new skills and get active! Nickelodeon sponsored two events in Michigan to promote these endeavors: World Day of Play and Nick Helps. Nickelodeon selected Go To Team’s Chicago DP, Kyle Kaiser, to shoot the events.
The first event was the Nick Helps, hosted at the Belle Isle Aquarium in Michigan. Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star were on location to get the children excited about exploring the aquarium and learning about microplastic’s effect on the environment. Kaiser used an Fs7 at the event to collect some footage of the kids playing and exploring. Additionally, he set up an interview with a representative from the aquarium to discuss Nickelodeon’s involvement in sponsoring this event.
The following event was World Day of Play, where Nickelodeon occupied a field, filling it with inflatable bouncy houses and obstacle courses, slides, a mini BMX track, and DJ Boogie blasting jams. Again, Kaiser set up his Fs7 for exclusive interviews with the director of the YMCA and a representative from the BMX Foundation. Furthermore, he shot more b-roll of kids competing on courses and playing. Kaiser used a natural light source to capture the b-roll.
Our crews always have a blast covering exciting events for Nickelodeon!
Thank you to Nickelodeon for selecting Go To Team, we look forward to working with them on future projects!
