Blackbaud is a software company designed specifically for Non-Profit organizations. The company is geared toward providing software services for Fundraising, Faith Communities, K-12 Schools, and more.
Blackbaud recently created a new internal training video and called on Go To Team’s Columbia DP, Craig Goodale and apprentice Ben Giddens, to capture footage for it!
Craig used a Sony F55 to capture footage of the employees for the introduction video. Ben Giddens was on the audio. For the indoor shoot, Craig and Ben set up three-point lighting to highlight the subject.
Natural light worked for the outdoor shoot and additional lighting was not required. In certain circumstances, you might need to add lighting in an outdoors shooting to get the best results. An on-camera light is a great portable option for outdoor shoots that require additional lighting!
The crew also used an iPad teleprompter to assist with the script! When it comes to choosing a teleprompter, the iPad teleprompter is an ideal choice because it is lightweight and easily portable. Most often, teleprompters are used by news broadcasters and politicians. These professionals use a teleprompting system positioned behind the camera so the television presenter can make natural eye contact into the lens.

Because of the simplicity of this new technology, people take advantage of the benefits of teleprompters now more than ever. Now, any scripted video may use a teleprompter to help the subject of the video remember their lines!
