ATL Talks Baseball for Braves Opener

This week, I got to work with MLB and shoot a few interviews for a film they are putting together.  Day one ended up being a pretty good challenge.  I’ve shot interviews in hotel rooms before, but I didn’t expect to walk into the room and see my producer had lifted up both beds and leaned them on the wall and given me some space to work with. Yay! So I set up the interview and we rolled with it.  I was using the Canon C300 so that made things a bit easier to make the shot look nice.

We packed up and headed to Turner Field for the Braves home opener.  This also happened to be a special day at the field, celebrating Hank Aaron’s 715th home run.  I was able to capture that ceremony honoring him from home plate.

The next day, we set up some more interviews around Turner Field. We had three set ups here – Two down in the press room and one out in the dugout.  They came out pretty good and our producer got a lot of good content.  When the day was done, we got some good interviews and got to watch a ball game!
