Now that the 2023 Ryder Cup has wrapped up from Rome, our crews wrapped up the 2023 Writer Cup presented by High Noon for Barstool Sports. Atlanta Senior DP, Nate Silverman; D.C DP, Ryan Brower; and Charlotte DP, Jalen Phillips covered the three day event for Barstool Sports and Foreplay Pod at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC.
Each crew shot on the Sony FX9 with the Sony 28-135mm F4 G-series lens and were tasked with following the golf balls from the fairways (or roughs) onto the greens. As well as high speed b-roll and banter between the competitors. Following a golf ball is no easy task but our crews were up to the task.
