NBC wanted to highlight just how great he is with a Dateline special dedicated to his “First 50 Years.” From interviews with world leaders to traveling to the Berlin Wall to covering the Watergate Scandal, Brokaw has seen and done a lot in his 50 years with NBC. He is the only person to host all three major NBC News programs – The Today Show, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press. He is regarded as the most popular news personality and still remains with NBC as a special correspondent today. |
