NBA and New York City Camera Crew Hit the Red Carpet
The NBA Awards! What a night! The energy, the excitement, the anticipation of this event was like no other. I can honestly say, I’ve never seen this much incredible talent in one place. It was awesome working with Turner‘s NBA on TNT and Kristen Ledlow at the first annual NBA Awards ceremony outside the Pier 36 in lower Manhattan. I was on the red carpet where we interviewed superstars including Bill Russell, Dikembe Mutombo, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, John Wall, Russell Westbrook, Dirk Nowitzki, Victor Oladipo, and many more!
We also helped set up Turner’s one-of-a-kind “kick cam” that twists a camera 180 degrees to show off the guest’s stylish shoes. This was the opportunity of a lifetime. It was such a privilege to be a part of a cool event surrounded by such incredible NBA and musical talent. The camera was streaming directly through a LiveU to their Atlanta studio so they could cut and publish the content in real time to their Facebook and Instagram feeds. So cool!
