GTT Chicago Crew goes back to school

IMG_1561Sports, academia, and beautiful college campuses.  Those three things encompassed the better part of three months for me.  I had the amazing opportunity to travel to all the Big Ten schools and shoot the show “Live Big” on Big Ten Network.  For each school we shot a total of 2 stories highlighting special academic projects going on at each campus.  For this task, I geared up with the Sony PMW F3, Nikon prime lenses, and a MYT Works slider for that extra touch.  I spent three days, give or take a day, to shoot campus scenics and then the stories themselves.   During these shoots, I also “piggy-backed” a few schools for a different project, Game Day Experience videos that will be highlighted in the new Big Ten Museum set to open in Rosemont, IL.  This is where the football comes in, as well as hockey and wrestling.  I was a fly on the wall shooting the “experience” you would get if you were attending one of these events.  Hopefully, these videos will be enshrined for eternity.   Being a Big Ten alum, this was an even greater experience for me.   Everyone has been asking me, “which is your favorite school” and my extremely biased answer is always Penn State.  Gotta stay true to your Alma Mater!   It was a great experience with a great crew, highlighting the very best that the Big Ten has to offer.   I would do it again in a heart beat!
