There are heroes amongst us in the shopping malls, but they were especially present at The Mall of Georgia just 30-miles northeast of Atlanta.
The Mall of Georgia is the largest shopping mall in the Metropolitan Area and has more than two hundred stores. Every day countless retail customers enjoy shopping here.
Macy’s, being one of the mall’s anchor stores, is a destination store for many of these shoppers. But what happens when someone interrupts the peaceful flow of shopping at the mall?
Recently, a robber was accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise from stores across the state. Go To Team’s Atlanta DP, Nate Silverman, went behind the scenes to find out how employees deal with such a theft.
Silverman helped to shoot a promotional video that highlighted The Mall of Georgia’s Asset Protection program. Interviews with employees helped shed light on what steps are taken in this situation.
The Asset Protection program focuses on external theft. These employees are devoted to protecting the Macy’s brand and merchandise. These employees are truly the heroes in the stores.
Silverman used an F5 camera and two Generay Lite-Panels to set up the perfect shot.
Our crew enjoyed collaborating with Macy’s on this project that emphasized the importance of safety in our shopping malls. We look forward to working with them again in the future!
