The HDX900 is a diverse workhorse, providing High Definition acquisition utilizing the DVCProHD format.  The primary feature of this camera that sets it apart from the rest is its ability to record in both 720P and 1080i resolution. Frame rates include 1080 at 59.94i, 50i, 29.97p, 25p, 23.98p, 23.98pA and 720 at 59.94p, 50p, 29.97p, 25p, 23.98p.  On the audio front, it’s capabilities include uncompressed 16bit, 4-channel digital audio recording, allowing some cool options for Audio Techs.  A built in IEEE 1394 digital output allows the camera to be paired with P2 recording devices, providing a seamless workflow for clients who utilize P2 media.
