Our New England DP, Roger Woodruff, and Miami DP, Derrick Butler, worked together on a two cam interview of Bill Laimbeer in Naples, Florida. This interview consisted of asking about Laimbeer’s time on the Detroit Pistons and coaching both the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces.
Roger and Derrick both shot on FX9s with some Leica R lenses. The interview took place in Laimbeer’s screened in patio so they had plenty of diffused light to work with on top of an Aperture 1200D and a large soft box.
The shoot concluded with the two DPs using sliders to get b roll shots of Laimbeer’s memorabilia.
