This past March, Go To Team’s Dave Baker worked in conjunction with Dwaine Scott (NBC) on a multi-cam remote production of “Hardball with Chris Matthews” in Memphis, TN. Hardball was there to cover the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, held at the Historic Peabody Hotel. The live production went off without a hitch amidst hustle and bustle of the conference. Overcome with the spirit of the town, and after several Karaoke mic checks, Dave was sent to Sun Studio (made famous by discovering legends such as Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley) to rock “The King’s” mic. It was here that Dwaine Scott learned why Dave Baker has a crew instead of a band.
