My bags are always packed and I’m always ready to go. Equipped with a Sony F-800 XDcam I headed west for Arkansas. I was pumped about my Golf Channel shoots. For two days I would get to work with ex-pro golfer and now TV host, David Feherty.
The first day I shot stand-ups for Feherty’s feature on President Bill Clinton. I had a 1-ton grip truck at my disposal which was pretty cool. Aside from shooting one stand up outside the historical Little Rock Central High School the rest were shot at the Clinton Presidential Library. We did two of the stand-ups in the Oval Office. Well, okay, it wasn’t the real Oval Office but it sure did feel like it! I had a blast working on this shoot. The day couldn’t have gone smoother thanks to a great crew.
The second day was spent in Dardanelle, AR, which happens to be the home of ex-pro golfer, John Daly. Our day started with a three-camera interview with Feherty and Daly. Afterwards we basically spent the rest of the day hanging out with John Daly and David Feherty as they caught up on their “Glory Day.” It was a blast working with these guys and I can’t wait to shoot for the Golf Channel again.
