About Zac

I'm a graduate of Pratt Institute, NY (Film B.F.A.), and I'm hungry for more production work. I currently work as a Stagehand, Driver, and Video Technician for Rooftop Films (an NYC screening organization), and I freelance as a Photography Assistant, Grip, and Gaffer for Indie Studios LLC. I have extensive on-set experience in various production roles (on high and low budget projects), and I’m well-seasoned with core production responsibilities. In the past year, I’ve spent most of my time in G&E. I was previously a Video Intern at a Virtual Production studio in Providence, RI (Door-G), and have worked on a variety of indie, commercial, and student film sets in NYC. Apart from film, I previously worked in a Whiskey Distillery for many months, moving dangerously heavy and fragile object by hand and machine, transporting pallets of whiskey in commercial trucks in and out of NYC. I am a multi-hyphenate, self-motivated, and energetic individual with optimistic and upbeat interpersonal skills. I love working with people, am highly organized and aptly communicative, and I’m great in fast-paced environments involving many variables. I want to learn and improve my abilities amongst more experienced creatives. In addition, I’m observant, adaptable, and can work long and demanding days. The crew is my family, and my positive and progressive approach helps me handle any situation with a calm and professional attitude.
