Facilitate the production designers creative vision for locations and sets that eventually give the film its unique identity. Translate desired moods, messages, concepts, and underdeveloped ideas into imagery. Makes decisions about visual elements used, what artistic style to use, and when to use motion. Duties including playing a support role, providing assistance to department heads & improving the overall positive energy & spirit of the production. Provide set-up, maintenance, & breakdown of daily production process. Ensure proper organization & delivery of wardrobe to talent, different departments, and tailors for alterations. Includes interactions with various departments and processing financial organization. Attend production meetings; type, copy, edit, and distribute scripts; organize travel arrangements for crew & production executives as well as casts, organize accommodations for crew & cast; type & distribute call sheets & schedules, assist cast members & run errands in some cases; work between the production office & other departments; deal with expenses & accounts; check scripts & running orders; keep track of timing during a program presentation; set up pre-recorded materials in the studio gallery; make schedule, logs, shot lists for post-production; liaise with a wide range of people on production success; organize interviews & meetings; prepare & distribute scripts & briefing notes.
