About Shaina

I am a visionary, heart-centered artist and director of photography focused on stories that bridge perspectives and create impact. My work has been licensed by Netflix and Delta Airlines and utilized in campaigns for Google, Major League Baseball, Toyota, Spaulding Rehab Hospital, and the Basketball Hall of Fame. I am most proud of the impact my work has had on real humans, finding motivation and resilience from the stories. I am available to support your production as a DP, Camera operator or within the camera department. I am highly organized, positive, and a creative problem-solver. I love logistics and can fill in directing or producing with smaller crews. I am the co-founder of Evergrain Studios, an intentional and creative collective of artists and change makers harnessing the power of character-driven stories and immersive experiences to address social issues. Our team produces a small slate of original films and series, as well as providing creative and execution on collaborative film and commercial work. Our current projects in development include topics on disability, women's rights, and mental performance. We approach every project with impact in mind, seeking to move audiences to connect and take action. Our breakout independent film THE REBOUND 🏀 distributed on Netflix (2019) and Delta, 8 awards among 20+ film festivals including the Kaiser Permanente Thrive Award, Best Doc, Audience Choice Award, had 120+ screenings and is being utilized in research at JMU.
