About Jonathan
Jonathan Jackson crates music videos, corporate videos, and independent video projects. Jonathan came into the video production world in a round-about way. Working as a freelance architectural photographer, he offered to do a time-lapse of the legendary PBS television show Austin City Limits. The producers at ACL liked the idea and accepted. After a practice run with Elvis Costello, Jonathan created a time-lapse of the full day of taping with Pearl Jam. The online “viral” success of that video spawned a role for Jonathan as ACL’s official videographer. Jonathan has now created over a hundred behind-the-scenes video previews for ACL’s online promotions. He also has created the show opening sequence, or “intro”, for season 37, 38, 39, 40 & 41 of Austin City Limits and creates the “back-plate” (footage that runs behind the credits) for each episode.
