About JLK

Jason Kypros began working in the film industry in 2001 on the set of John Grisham's "Mickey". It was on that set where he met legendary film producer Fred Roos. By the end of the movie, Jason was in Los Angeles working in Roos' office. While in Los Angeles, Jason also started performing stand up comedy and became a graduate of the Groundlings School of Improv. PA work was a great way for him to gain an even better understanding of the film making process and by the time he moved back to Virginia,he decided to start his own production company. In 2008, JLK Productions was formed and its' first client was A.D.S. INC in Virginia Beach. From there, the jobs grew from small scale product demos on the expo floor to full scale product commercials for B.E. Meyers at the Black Water Training Facility. Today, JLK Productions has produced content for national clients A.D.S. and BE Meyers to local businesses such as Tycon Medical, Smartmouth Brewing Company as well as non profits like TWP and the YWCA. Jason's experience really comes into play as a producer. His ability to write, direct, edit and act allow him to facilitate the creative process from all angles with both the story and the bottom line in mind. Jason also has a unique perspective with regard to branding, as he has been the Brand Spokesperson for the Virginia Lottery since 2011. This role as the Game Guy for the VAL has allowed Jason the opportunity to both meet talented crew members all over Virginia and gain a better understanding of the critical processes involved in major campaigns. Part of what make JLK Productions great is the crew. We are very fortunate to be able to work with the very best in all departments.
