About Jessica

After graduation, I worked for two of the biggest entertainment companies in America, Netflix and ABC, on the shows Cobra Kai and Queens. My role was to work as the company’s secret weapon, working efficiently to ensure that daily operations ran smoothly and that all goals were properly met. In this position, I largely provided administrative assistance to every single individual involved in the Production department including the Executive Producers, Line Producer, and Unit Production Manager as well as additional support to other vital departments within the shows such as Accounting Art, Locations, and many more on an as-needed basis. I was extremely quick on my feet in these productions and offered efficient solutions to last-minute problems. Production can be unpredictable and fast-paced however, I can adapt to any situation on the fly and work well under pressure. When working in a fast-paced environment, it is crucial to list out all duties and work in order of the highest priority. My biggest strength is my ability to pay attention to the smallest detail. This minimizes the risk of error immensely and reduces the amount of checking, revising, and supervision that I require. Other personal responsibilities on these productions include but are not limited to: - Writing and communicating important information through memorandums to crew totaling more than 300 people as changes occur throughout the day, - Handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, - Ensuring that all information in Scenechronize and Dropbox is accurate and updated, - Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports, - Traveling to on-set locations as needed to deliver time-sensitive documents to directors and executive producers, - Professionally answering phones, providing answers when possible, transferring calls or taking messages when needed, and - Scheduling meetings with regard to calendar management.
