About Jacob

My name is Jacob Dupre and I'm a musician and composer located in Austin. I play piano, trumpet, drums, bass, and I’m a vocalist. I do a lot of work as a performer and composer in the Austin area and around the country as well. I have experience composing and producing my own music for various types of film including animation, short films, music videos, jingles/ads, live shows, and musicals. I have worked with several film makers on music for their projects, including filmmakers from the Austin area, Dallas, and as far as Los Angeles. Some of the Austin filmmakers include Jing Yang, Scott Cobb, and animator/cartoonist Connor Murphy. I am currently looking for jobs in studios, possibly as a contracted or in-house composer.
