Description Cait Adkins is a photographer born and raised in Emporia, Kansas, there she received her BFA in Photography at Emporia State University. After her Undergraduate degree was completed, she moved to San Francisco, California, where she continued her education at the Academy of Art. In San Francisco, she spent her time photographing live music, portraits, city events, and action sports. Her most notable work was done on the set of Ryan Coogler's "Fruitvale Station" where she is credited as a Lead Unit Stills Photographer. She has recently worked on numerous sets within the Austin Area. She has been published in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, Esquire Magazine, and GQ. She currently resides in Austin, TX.
