About Aaron
Description Artist and Illustrator, 10-year veteran of the New Orleans art markets, relocated to the Austin area 2022. Has illustrated five children's books and written two. Primary mediums are acrylic paint on wood and fabric. Stage experience from being a troupe member of the Mudlark Puppeteers. Experience designing, building, and painting backdrops, stage sets, and a variety of puppets, ranging from 18in rod-in-hand to 20ft parade-scale backpack rigs. Background in carpentry, competent with a variety of hand tools and woodworking power tools. Some experience with soldering iron, plasma cutter, and MIG welder. Digital media skills include Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, also Procreate for iPad. Most recently experienced in Costumes/Wardrobe via Local 478. Open to working wherever would be useful. Preference for Art Department, Set Paint, and Costumes. Willing to PA.
