About Yousef
Toronto-based 2nd AC, 1st AC, Photographer, Yousef Moussa is a Toronto-based camera department professional with hands-on experience on feature films and narrative productions. Most recently, he served as 2nd Assistant Camera on a feature film with Dotted Line Film Inc., working alongside cinematographer Matt Bendo CSC and 1st AC Arvin Johnston, handling ARRI Alexa systems daily including slate operation, equipment inventory, and detailed shot logging. Prior to camera department work, Yousef served as Director of Photography on several narrative projects, including the short film "Idle" (Humber College), building technical proficiency across ARRI Alexa, RED, and Sony FX6 camera packages, along with lighting tools including Godox, Knowled, and Litepanels. He has also worked as a 1st Assistant Director, supporting a DP through call sheet coordination and cross-department communication on an independent production. Yousef is a Student Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC #2539) and has completed Working at Heights training (IATSE 58). His application for full IATSE 667 membership is currently in progress. Available for 1st AC, 2nd AC, camera trainee, and still photography roles across Toronto and the GTA.
