About Noise

I have been working as a sound mixer since 2018 and have experience in many types of production mediums, including but not limited to film, TV, theatre, live events, industrials, and documentary work in various positions. I really started to build out my sound resume in 2021 with the various types of jobs I was contracted for. I have worked with ABC News, Starz, Investigation Discovery, Amazon Music, US Bank, Airheads, and more! I am based in Chicago but I have worked in many other states including Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, North Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut, and more to come! I have home bases in DC and Connecticut. Happy to drive anywhere across the country and willing to fly across the world for any project that seems like a good fit. For a while, I have been growing my sound package. I currently am running a Sound Devices Mix Pre 3 and 10 ii mixers. Schoeps CMIT 5U, Sennheiser MKH50, Sennheiser MKH416, Sanken CS3e and Røde NTG 3 shotgun mics (total 5). Two Lectrosonics LT/LR, Wisycom MCR42, two Wisycom MTP40s with Sanken Cos11d lavs, and Røde Wireless Go II transmitters and receiver with Countryman B3 lavs (total 6 lavs). I own a Comtek transmitter and three receivers, two Denecke JB-1 Timecode boxes with cables for BNC, 5 Pin Lemo, 9 Pin Lemo, and 1/8th inch, Denecke TS-C timecode slate, and a 5-inch SmallHD and 5-inch Atomos Shinobi monitors, with one video transmitter and receiver. I also have a relationship with Cinespace's Second City Sound to rent from as well as other local rental houses if needed to rent. I have a dedicated boom operator I work with, Joshua Boshell, however, if we need more sound help or he is unavailable I have other contacts. If you need recommendations for post sound as well, I have a few people and companies to go to depending on your price point and scope of the project.
