Time Management skills, organization, and knowledge of Grip and Electric gear from working at High Output. General grip rigging and electric distribution and safety knowledge. Experience with tenting windows, rigging off of C-stands, grip Combos, walls, ceilings, Menace Arms, Speedrail and 2x4 wall spreaders, and odd surfaces. Experience with Dana and Doorway Dollies, leveling track, and pushing Dolly when needed. Understanding of Generators from 2000w to 500amp generators. Ability to run power distribution, across the set to fulfill production needs across all departments. Experience with Aperture, Arri, Micky Mole, Naanlite, and Litegear lighting fixtures. Replacing broken bulbs off of Arri and Micky Mole tungsten and HMI lights. Repairing and re-terminating cable, building new or repairing broken stingers. Experience working on multiple low-budget independent films as a Gaffer or Director of Photography, with an understanding of light, composition, and movement to tell a story. Utilizing all the tools available to the filmmaker to best pull off a particular shot. Experience in color grading and editing, being Adobe Certified in Premiere Pro. Creative Problem Solving, thinking ahead to the next day, and always prepared for whatever may be needed.
