With a strong foundation in both the creative and logistical aspects of filmmaking, I bring a well-rounded skill set and a deep passion for storytelling that make me a valuable asset in the film industry. My academic achievements at Elon University, including a 3.97 GPA and memberships in prestigious honor societies, reflect my dedication and discipline. I’ve also broadened my perspective through a film-intensive study abroad program in the Czech Republic, where I served as Director of Photography on a 16mm short film. The semester was rigorous, including a course load of 9 classes that provided well-rounded instruction about lighting, camera language, editing techniques, and much more. This was an experience that sharpened my technical proficiency and collaborative instincts on international sets. Professionally, I’ve held multiple internships that gave me hands-on experience with development, production, and post-production. At Hidden Pictures, I honed my analytical eye through script and book coverage while learning the inner workings of industry development processes during executive meetings. My role at Maverick (Legacy Pictures) deepened my experience with commercial production—developing pitch decks, enhancing outreach strategies, and editing professional reels for directors and DPs. I further built on these skills at Ivan Anhe Productions, where I handled preproduction coordination, social media content creation, mood boards for current projects, and corporate shoot support, gaining versatility across media types and platforms. In school, I have learned the importance of programs like MovieMagic Budgeting and Scheduling, and I have worked heavily with Adobe Creative Suite, gaining knowledge of Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and PhotoShop. I also have a lot of experience with Audio Editing in ProTools. Finally, for my production design passions, I have learned UnReal Engine, SketchUp, Blender, and AutoCAD. Beyond my internships and classwork, I’ve consistently taken initiative on sets—directing, producing, designing, and crewing a wide range of student films. From writing and directing original stories like The Lonesome Tune and Calm Down, It’s Just a Bullet Wound, to taking on specialized roles such as costume design, production design, and gaffing, I’ve demonstrated both creative vision and technical competence. I enjoy being heavily involved on set, and I am a quick learner - ready to pick up any extra tasks that one may need assistance on during a shoot. These experiences show my ability to lead with confidence, adapt to different team dynamics, and support others in bringing a project to life—skills essential for any successful filmmaker. Whether behind the camera or shaping a project from the ground up, I approach every opportunity with curiosity, organization, and heart.
