About Jason
Description Screenwriter with many years of development and research experience. A native Texan I had the pleasure to work as Robert Rehme's DOD while he was also President of AMPAS, Jerry Bruckheimer and others during my time in L.A. I now live at home in DFW. I also have scripted writer's room experience and have won ScriptapaloozaTV a couple times now. First place in the one-hour original and third place in one-hour existing series categories. I've also done my fair share of ghost writing and script doctoring. On the unscripted front I've created and optioned several shows, optioning them to well-known production companies. I wrapped researching and writing for the Dallas-based Murder Made Me Famous series on the Reelz Channel last year. I also write for several national military/firearm oriented magazines as well as books. I would love to be involved with projects filming here in our home state.
