Join us every year on the first weekend of November for the screening of films, shorts and music videos. Film Makers can begin submitting their films towards the beginning of the year until Mid September to be considered for that years festival. BTKFF also hosts the "Best Texas" themed photography contest open to the Middle, High School and College Students.Winners showcased at the BTKFF. Billy the Kid Film Festival takes place in many historical venues throughout Hico, Texas like; Blue Star Trading Co., Green Canoe Outfitters, Hico Hall, Buzzed Brumby and the Hico Community Center.
