The success of a Salesman…
John Hancock partnered with Assignment Desk and Go To Team’s DP, David DiFalco, to highlight the success of their Division Award Winner. Our crew filmed interviews with the Salesman himself and his family, along with two of his co-workers.
For this shoot, our crew used two Sony F5’s with prime lenses to capture the footage. Using these lenses, allowed more capabilities to capture fall off for a blurred background effect.
One obstacle our crew faced was adapting to the lighting within the Salesman’s home. But our crew is trained for these exact situations! Our DPs know the best lighting techniques and know how to manipulate light based on room size. The lighting was flipped from the typical setup. The crew had to put a backlight on the opposite side of the talent then they normally would.
The equipment used for lighting was Kino Flo Diva as the key light, iKan light-armed out for the backlight, a reflector to bounce for a fill, then used 2-150 Tungstens with cookies to break up light in the background of the room they were in.
Thank you to John Hancock for choosing to work with the Assignment Desk to make this story come to life! We hope to work with you again in the future.
