Film Festivals are always a great time, and if you’ve never been to one you should highly consider going to the American Black Film Festival!
Prudential, who has sponsored various events at the Festival, recently partnered with Assignment Desk and Go To Team’s Waco DP, Roger Woodruff, to highlight festivities.
Woodruff was able to capture behind-the-scenes footage of the festival, located in Miami, Florida. He utilized a DJI Ronin-S and a Sony a7S II to capture all footage.
The room where the festival took place was well-lit, which made lighting set up easy. Additionally, an Fs7, known for its flexibility, was used throughout the filming process.
The annual American Black Film Festival focuses on African American actors and actresses in films and television shows. One of the main purposes of the event is to bring together actors and actresses in the industry.
Over the years, the festival has brought in many to see film screenings, talks, and interviews. The attendees also have opportunities for networking. This year’s film festival featured the screening of Legacy Lives On, a documentary showcasing financial benefits and challenges of three African American women.
We would like to thank Prudential and the American Black Film Festival for the opportunity to cover this fun event! We hope to work with you again in the future!
