Did you know there are 76 words in a 30 second TV ad? The company 76 Words was built off that information and they utilize those words to craft great campaign ads. Assignment Desk teamed up with them to shoot an ad for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood held two events in Pennsylvania the day of the shoot. They held a rally at Temple University at 10:30 a.m. The second event was a Women’s Organizing Event at Swarthmore College at 3:30 p.m. Both events were geared to promote the importance of women’s health and voter registration. We used a director of photography to film inspiring footage, an audio tech to record the events and a still photographer to snap great pics.

Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, spoke. There were several other local figures and politicians there. Katie McGinty, candidate for senator of Pennsylvania was supposed to be there, but she was unable to attend because of a plane delay. We had to do a bit of scrambling, but the event went smoothly.
